Trying to piece together the events surrounding Brody’s death proves to be a daunting task, but Harley can’t give up. Brody won’t let her. He is still in the apartment with her, trapped in limbo until she finds his killer.

Kj's Review of Possess
Harley runs away from a bad relationship and ends up in Midtown, Rhode Island. She quickly gets a job and an apartment too. The only thing about her apartment is that it’s haunted by its last occupant Brody Walsh. To make everything more interesting, the pub owner where she works, along with the waitress that helps her get the job were friends with Brody. She very quickly gets all tangled up with what happened to Brody, as his ghost is pushing her to find the truth as well.
I liked this book, it was interesting and is well written. I would recommend this story to anyone looking for a good paranormal murder mystery. I got so caught up in the story I didn’t want to put it down. I mean what’s better than a murder mystery and romance all in the same place? I will be on the watch for more from J. A. Howell.

The Untimely Death Of Brody Walsh

Brody Walsh’s life is left in disarray when his girlfriend is found brutally raped and murdered. But it completely shatters when his best friend, Nolan is arrested for the crime.

Even as the media is portraying him as a monster, Brody knows Nolan isn’t capable of murder.

That leaves the question: Who is?

Once the trial begins, Brody discovers just how little he knew about his girlfriend, spurring him to dig into her past for possible answers. And as Aggie, his long time confidant and childhood crush, stands by his side through all of this, he finds his own past resurfacing when his feelings for her reignite. But as the media and the prosecutors close in on Nolan, ready to convict him for a crime he didn’t commit, Brody will be forced to make a choice.

A choice that will lead to his untimely death.

Kj's Review Of The Untimely Death Of Brody Walsh
Body Walsh’s girlfriend was killed and the evidence pointed at his best friend Nolan. Brody was trying to make sense of it all but couldn’t make his mind wrap around it all. He has to let go of his anger at his best friend before he can do anything. When he finally starts to investigate things it becomes apparent that something just isn't right, and Brody finds himself in big trouble.
I love how this story went back in time and explained things about Brody and his life. It made it so much better, I had questions about Brody from the first book, nothing I needed to know, but wished for, this book certainly handles that plus! Again, I recommend this series to anyone enjoying paranormal books, it’s so worth it. Many thanks To Ms. Howell for giving me these books to read and review!!
