Cover Reveal: September Ends

Title: September Ends
Author: Hunter S. Jones

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Release Day: October 1st, 2013
Reveal Host: Lady Amber's Tours

Blurb:
Overweight and dull. That’s how I felt.

My grandfather and brother died. I hid inside a black cave deep in my soul, numbed for a decade on meds, booze, and bad love, married to my glorious career.

My name is Liz Snow, from Atlanta, Georgia, and this is my story.

One hot summer I fell hopelessly in love with successful attorney, Peter William Hendrix III, from Chattanooga, Tennessee. We bonded because of Shelley and Keats. Pete introduced me to the works of modern English poet, Jack O. Savage, It was like The Poet was drawing us together through his blogs and poems, like he had a message for my life and my love with Pete Hendrix.
I lived it in my heart and soul.

It all went tragically wrong once I learned Pete’s secret.

As September ends I jet to London, England with an unstable mind and a broken heart. Pete Hendrix betrayed me big time. There was no time for revenge. My life was a kaleidoscope of stabbing shards of pain.

London ignored me. Maybe I didn't exist. I was lost and lonely in a flat in Kensington.
I hear that Jack O. Savage will make a rare public appearance. I wrangle an invitation to the art gallery where he is reading. I was curious. Somehow, he was the cause of my trouble.
The rock-star-with-words was even more damaged than I.

Jack O.Savage, The Poet became my friend.
Then, an unexpected kiss at a county fair on a perfect English summer's day changed everything forever. Jack the man became my lover.
Magic.
My elusive dream of a lifelong love began.
If Pete was what I'd always wanted, Jack was what I always needed.
The mystery unraveled as the kaleidoscope of my broken life evolved and I found myself living a rainbow of perfect bliss.

Sometimes when you believe it’s the end, it’s only the beginning.

September Ends is a contemporary romance with erotic and supernatural elements bound together by poetry. It reveals the intricate web of passion and desire which entangles Liz Snow, Pete Hendrix and Jack O. Savage. The story is told through Liz Snow’s diary, Jack O. Savage’s poetry, and from letters sent across the Atlantic. Traveling throughout the lushness of a summertime in Tennessee and Georgia, September Ends journeys into the elegance of London’s West End and is finally settled in the countryside of Cornwall, England, a decade later.

September Ends is a story of sin, redemption and salvation through love
because love happens when we least expect it.

Meet The Author

HUNTER S. JONE -Novelist. Exile on Peachtree Street.
Lover of all the finer things in life.
The art form I create when writing is much more interesting than anything you will ever know or learn about me. However, since you ask, I have lived in Tennessee and Georgia my entire life, except for one “lost summer” spent in Los Angeles. I was always a complex kid. My first published stories were for a local underground rock publication in Nashville. I have published articles on music, fashion, art, travel and history.
Currently, I have a music/entertainment blog @ExPatsPost.com. My debut novella, Fables of the Reconstruction,  was published in 2012.
Edgar Allan Poe and Anne Rice have always fascinated me, although like any Southern girl, I will always idolize Margaret Mitchell for writing Gone With The Wind. I also adore the works of John Grisham, and own a huge selection of his books. I live in Atlanta, Georgia with my husband, my books, too many clothes, too many shoes and way too many stacks of notepads and journals.
September 2013 will see the launch of my first novel, a contemporary romance, written in collaboration with English author and poet, R.J. Askew.

~~~~~~Kj's Reviews~~~~~
It was really hard for me to not get angry with this book, I just wanted to rip everybody for every little slight against Avery. As much as I wanted things to stay the same so she could have the life she wanted on some level I had the feeling it wouldn’t. As I lived this book with Avery, I felt all her emotions, only hers, not any other character. It was odd for me to do that as I usually feel more than just one character in a story, but I think it's the sign of a well written story.
 I want to thank Christy for having me read and review for her, it has really been a pleasure. I will happily read anything she writes, now and forever. I highly recommend this book, especially to those who like past live stories. I give this book 4 out of 5 stars.
*****Kj's Review*****
 As Vicki, Brenda and Dylan head to Ireland, presumably to see Dylan’s grandmother before she dies. Dylan has a lot hidden in Ireland but is hoping it will not be found out. What he doesn’t know is Vicki has a secret also, one she doesn’t know how to tell him This book blew me away as they all have, I loved being in Ireland and finding out Dylan’s past. Of course the mission that Dylan is on is the best yet.
 If I could sell these books for p.m. terrell I would, she is without a doubt one of the best authors I have had the pleasure of reading. I am so looking forward to the next book, I hope to be able to read and review that one also. A huge thank you goes to p.m. Terrell for writing my new genre, when it’s her writing it, mystery all the way!! I give this book 5 stars.
*****Kj's Review*****
 Somehow as I read the story, I never believed Delia was a pyromaniac nor did I believe that she had killed her parents. Seeing that she couldn’t remember so much after 10 years; maybe I am just a sucker and wanted to believe the best no matter what. When she met Liam my radar went up a little but I relaxed too soon in thinking that he was just a really good guy. Can we say that this story twisted away from my rational thinking every time?
 It was a wonderfully written story that kept my interest at all times. Kudos to Ms Kight for confounding my rational thoughts. I recommend this book highly as I thoroughly enjoyed it, including the ending. I agree with the author, any other ending would never have done!! I give this book 4 out of 5 stars.
Sacrifice Of Love
Sacrifice of Love by Quinn Loftis
 As one evil falls, another rises in its place.  The powerful witch, Desdemona, has finally been killed by an alliance of wolf, elf, and fae. But Reyaz, brother to Cypher the warlock king, has vowed retribution for a life that was taken from him. Now Cypher must decide not only how to protect his newfound mate and his people, but also how to destroy the only family he has left.
Meanwhile, Jen’s pregnancy progresses and the fateful due date draws ever nearer. The thought of losing Decebel’s child constantly threatens to overwhelm her. With each passing day, Decebel grows more distant, causing Jen to wonder what toll the impending loss of their child is taking on him. Unbeknownst to Jen, in an act of desperation to protect his unborn child and mate, Decebel strikes a deadly bargain with the Great Luna—his life in place of his child’s. There is only one way for that to happen; the bond between he and Jen must be broken.
As Jen as Decebel struggle through their darkness, another kind of darkness is infiltrating Fane’s heart. Doubts and questions linger as he tries to cope with the emotions brought on in the aftermath of Desdemona’s curse. He knows what happened wasn’t real, but still he can’t rid himself of the terrible images seared into his memory. Jacque is his light, the one who keeps the darkness at bay, yet he won’t let her inside to do just that.
Sally continues to learn what it means to be a gypsy healer and Costin struggles to protect her as she runs full speed ahead to help her wolves, heedless of her own safety. She sees her best friends struggling, each enduring their own trials. She’s desperate to help them, but can she keep them safe?
With all of these things hanging heavy over the heads of the Serbia and Romania packs, their attention is divided. The wolves do not even realize a threat has slowly infiltrated their midst. Will they recognize the threat in time to save the lives that precariously hang in the balance?
Against this backdrop of darkness, choices will be made, fears will confronted, and the ultimate sacrifice will be made.  Will the wolves stand together to defeat the threats arrayed against them, both from within and without? Will love conquer all? Or will the beleaguered wolves finally succumb to their demons?
~~~My Review~~~

Wow what can I say but I laughed with the characters, I cried with the characters, my heart broke for them and then over joyed for them as well. As stated in Quinn's book, there is a new evil ready and willing to take over as there is a demise of an old one. I was so anxious to read this book and see what adventure I would be taken on this time, and I was definitely not disappointed. I wanted to run with the wolves when they were hurting and needed to find their mates, and I wanted to be there to celebrate with them and their new beginnings. What more can you ask of a book? The only problem I had with the book was that it ended. I wanted it to go on and on, and I wanted to see what new adventures would come of everything.
Another wonderful book that I would definitely give a 5 star review. Great job Quinn. Thank you for letting us go on this awesome journey with you. I can't wait until you share more of your awesome ideas with us.

*****Kj's Review*****
I loved this novella, it connects the two novels so beautifully. I love Ianni as a human, she adores Avery, and they all are the best of friends. Even as a human she still protects Avery the best she can, which is easy since she knows the dangers that are out there. She finds being a human is really different than she thought it would be, but she loves it as well. She is absolutely beautiful inside and out, very down to earth, precisely the kind of friend Avery needs.
 I love to find out more about characters from a series, you always have those little questions running in the back of your mind. Christy answered those questions very well with this story. I recommend this book highly, it’s wonderful. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

*****Kj's Review*****
 The top five reasons you should read this book:
1.) Avery Snow has a spirit guide named Ianni, who has red hair and beautiful wings and will protect Avery with everything she has.
2.) Avery has a really interesting past, many lives in fact. Although Avery’s life seemed kind of boring to begin with it is really quite fascinating as the story moves along.
3.) Avery has two, count 'em two gorgeous men in her life.
4.) A creepy factor that there are evil people trying to make Avery be bad, not to mention people have been watching her through several lifetimes.
5.) The life struggle we all face from time to time, choosing what is right and which path we should take, Avery has lots of issues to need help with.
  I really like this story even though Avery is a bit of a mess, it makes the story much more real to me. We are all a bit of a mess in our own ways, I don’t know what I would do if I was in the same position she is, I think freak out may cover it though. Thanks Christy for this great story, and letting me read and review for you. I give this book 4 out of 5 stars.
