When Evan’s parents died she gets sent to her grandmother’s house to live, it seems odd as the woman never seemed interested in her before this. When Evan’s mom died she left Evan a necklace, she didn’t know what it was for but is sure there is something odd about it and herself too. She gets to her grandmothers and finds she has a whole lot of stuff she doesn’t know about and no one is talking, even the cute guy Lex that she shares a “spark” with.
She runs into the local people soon enough at a function that her grandmother insists she join. Of course there is an evil woman who has an evil daughter…we all know that is going to mean trouble sometime in the future. Evan also starts learning, she is an elemental, can travel through time and space, and who knows what else. All of a sudden life is way more interesting, and leads to Evan learning more.
I loved this book, was so sad when it ended, want more, more, more!! It is a wonderful book that I would recommend to anyone. I was completely immersed in Evan’s world within the first few paragraphs. I am not really happy that Evan likes alcohol and would play with drugs, but I can hope that she will kick it as she becomes more powerful. Thanks to Crystal Groszek for giving her book to read and review, I am waiting for more from this wonderful author.

Crystal Groszek is the author Evan Elemental, the first book in a new paranormal romance series. Crystal began thinking about and plotting Evan Elemental while attending Utica College where she earned her bachelor’s degree in English Literature. She currently lives in upstate New York with her fiancé, Patrick, and her lovably insane puppy, Lenni.
