~~~~Amy's Review ~~~~
I really enjoyed reading this book. When I first agreed to read this book as a review post, I had no idea it was part of a series, and not the first book in the series. I know after reading this book that I want to go back and check out the books in the series I ended up skipping over. It is a well written story, that is very unique. I haven't read any books with the ferryman in them up until now, and I found it to be so interesting. I was very overjoyed to read Aria being a female leader, especially since it isn't too often I have found stories with a female lead. I also really liked how one guy was ready to take on his own kind, by himself, to save a village from the corrupt evil threatening it. The other part that really caught my attention is what happened when the ferryman did step ashore. I have only ever heard of the ferryman and the boat, never him being ashore, what a fresh take. Thank you Rhiannon. I can't wait to read the rest of the books in the series. It was such a pleasure reading this one.
