Call Me Crazy Blog Tour & Giveaway

Synopsis
“I’m looking out from inside the chaos. It must be a one-way mirror because no one seems to be able to see back inside to where I am. The looks on their faces, the judgment in their eyes, tells me everything I need to know. The most frustrating part about the whole messed up situation is that even though I’m the one that they stare at in shock, I am just as shocked as they are. I know no more than they do of why I lose control. What they don’t know is that I am more scared of myself than they could ever be.” ~ Tally Baker

After a devastating turn of events, seventeen year old Tally Baker is admitted to Mercy Psychiatric Facility where she is diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. She has come to a place where she honestly believes that her life is over. Her mind tells her that she will never smile or laugh again, that she will never be normal again. It is in this unlikely place that she meets two people, different in every way, yet both critical to helping her realize that she has so much more living to do.
Candy, a cantankerous sixty year old Mercy Psychiatric patient, is hell bent on driving everyone as crazy as she is. Candy shows Tally that, regardless of her diagnosis, the ability to push on and live her life to the fullest is her choice and hers alone. In the midst of Tally’s oftentimes humorous, sometimes heart-wrenching, escapades with Candy, a new patient is admitted to Mercy—a Native American woman named Lolotea. Along with this new patient comes a daily visitor, her son, Trey Swift. At first glance, it is obvious to Tally that he is incredibly handsome and unbelievably caring. But what she learns through her second glance, and many thereafter, is that there is much more to Trey than he ever lets on. It is during these daily visits that Trey and Tally build a friendship far deeper than either of them truly realize. With Trey, Tally feels for the first time since being admitted that someone is looking at her as a person and not as a disease. Trey begins to make it clear that he wants more than friendship, but she knows that she can never give him more. How can she, when she won’t even give him the truth?  Tally doesn’t tell Trey that she is a patient at Mercy, and she doesn’t ever plan to. Her plans go up in flames when she finds out that Trey is a new student at her school, the school where her brokenness was found out in the floor of the girl’s bathroom in a pool of her own blood.

Excerpt
“For a brief moment I feel a strange kinship to the predators of the animal kingdom. I realize that I am not so different from the wolves, the great cats, or the bears. Like them I find that I am possessive of what I consider mine, I long to tear into one who would dare enter my territory and I have a need to provide for the female who belongs by my side. We men deceive ourselves when we claim civility. At the core of our being, we are animals.”
~ Trey

It’s been three days since I have been to the hospital, two days since I put a hole in my wall, one day since I worked for sixteen hours straight at the ranch. And still I burn on the inside. I have gotten in too deep, too fast. My father told me once that the men of our blood only know how to love one way; with our complete being; with the depths of our soul, with the beating of our hearts, with the marrow of our bones and with every thought that invades our minds—we love completely.

~~Kj's Review~~
 WOW!!!!!! I don’t even know what to say, I am blown away by this book. As I struggle for words; I wish a friend’s child could have read it…it’s too late now, he chose the only way out he knew. My heart bleeds to this day. Quinn Loftis has taken one of the hardest subjects around and made it easier for anybody to get a handle on it. I really wish I had the power to take and make this book recommended reading for those with bipolar disorder, and those who support them.
 Tally’s story inspires hope, makes you laugh, cry, and feel her despair. Her friendship with Candy is also a great part of the story. Candy defies all the rules, and makes her laugh and feel. Then Trey….I am sure anyone would love to have a Trey in their lives, big, loving man whose support could only help you up. This is truly a story that cannot be described, it’s a book that you need to buy and have with you forever. Thank you Quinn; one, for writing this book, two, for allowing me to read and review it. I give it 5 stars, really want to give it a billion. You rock Quinn Loftis!!

~~~Amy's Review~~~
What a heart felt journey you go on when you enter this book. Your heart breaks for Tally as she has her lows and what she goes though with bipolar disorder. I am sure for anyone who goes through this that feeling out of control and unable to stop yourself my be very hard and Quinn portrayed this very well. I love how Tally and Candy interacted in this story. Who would  have thought that with the age differences between these two women, that they would have the kinds of conversations they do. It is hilarious and definitely gave me a laugh.
Tally has an amazing survival instinct that makes you fall in love with her.
Trey's description, oh what a dream boat and I even loved him as a character. We all need love and support at some time in our lives and it was awesome for Tally to have Trey there for that. Thank you for another awesome read.
Forever Fae
He leans down, lips parted, and then our lips connect... We didn’t know that this one kiss has FOREVER changed the Land of the Fae.
According to the Prophecy proclaimed many years ago, Princess Calista of the Summer Court is destined to change the Land of the Fae from the evil determined to destroy it. Her powers are phenomenal, and she secretly trains for battle with her handsome warrior friend, Merrick, who unbeknownst to her protects her heart as well, in hopes of keeping it for himself. At least, until the seductive Prince Ryder attends the Guardian Ceremony and instantly sends a fire burning through her veins and a connection so deep they both discover a love above anything imaginable.
No one knows how Calista is destined to change the kingdoms, but there is one that does. He not only craves Calista’s power, but her body as well, and his goal is to steal her power, make her his Dark Queen, and take over the Land of the Fae.
~~Kj's Review Of Forever Fae~~
  Calista is getting prepared for her Guardian ceremony, she’s fairly certain it will be Merrick, her longtime friend. She is prepared for the ceremony, and greeting the guests when she spots a man whose look touches her in a way she’s never felt before. Prince Ryder of the Winter Court is his name and they are destined to be together.
 What they don’t know is that the dark sorcerer knows that they are destined to change the Land of the Fae and he craves Caliista’s power for himself. He will kidnap her to take her power and make her his Dark Queen so that together they can rule the Land of the Fae. Will Calista and Ryder be able to foil the dark sorcerer in time or is all lost to them just as they have found it?
 I loved this book, love stories about the fae and other creatures that surround them. This story was well written and beautifully told. I could just picture everything in the book as I read it. I recommend it to an adult audience as there is sexual content in it. I give this book 5 stars.
Betrayals Of Spring
The smell of rain vastly approaches as we are lying on the ground in a sea of flowers. They surround our bodies while the fresh Spring wind caresses our skin with its soft, gentle touch. Combined as one, we stare into each other’s eyes as we bask in the pleasure of our love and OUR land.
The Land of the Fae has flourished bringing a new beginning and a new court, the Fall Court. Five years have passed since then along with the dreaded day that Meliantha, Summer Court Princess and one of the powerful Four, was betrayed and broken-hearted by the sexy and alluring Winter Prince, Kalen. Spurned by the man she loves, Meliantha has turned and fallen into the arms of the fierce and handsome warrior, Finn, who understands she can never love him, but wants more than anything to mend her broken heart.
The Winter Solstice Ball is approaching, meaning Meliantha will have to face the Winter Prince and make it out of there with her heart intact. But what does she do when Prince Kalen acts as if nothing ever happened and seems more in love with her than ever before?
The dark sorcerer has planned his twisted game of lies and deceit well, and has enjoyed making himself a player without anyone’s knowledge. The game is almost over and the players are exactly where they are needed to be. Will Meliantha figure out his twisted game and save all the players? Or will the dark sorcerer once again obtain the power of the Four and take everything away from her…..even her one true love?
~~Kj's Review of Betrayals Of Spring~~
 Meliantha has never understood why Prince Kalen spurned her, she had thought they were meant to be and she was broken by his betrayal. Now as her family readies to travel to the Winter Court For the Winter Solstice Ball she’s not sure what to expect but will go in with her head high and with Finn, the warrior she’s been with since Kalen broke her heart.
  The dark sorcerer has been a busy man and has twisted and ruined lives in his quest to get the powers of the Four. He can no longer touch Calista, so has his sights on Meliantha. Will the trouble between Kalen and Meliantha be worked out or will the dark sorcerer win with all his evil plans? Will there be more romance between the Summer Court Princesses and the Winter Court Princes? Only time will tell….
Blurb-
At twenty-one years old, Oz Sullivan is unable to understand his fascination with and attraction to a much younger Adrienne Deschanel. Adrienne is spirited, passionate, and impulsive... all of the things Oz is not. Oz is drawn to her in a way that is inexplicable to him, and deeply concerning to those who know him.
Amidst her father’s threats, Adrienne makes secret plans to run away with Oz. Before they can act on them, Adrienne and her family are involved in a tragic accident that takes the lives of the entire family. Adrienne’s body, however, is not found in the wreckage. However, the predictability and peace of his quiet life is shattered when Adrienne is discovered, alive and well…but with no memory of anything before the accident. Oz is conflicted: grateful that she is alive but still damaged from her disappearance and hesitant to get involved and re-open a wound that never fully closed. Yet, Oz finds himself unable to resist helping when Adrienne’s desperate attempt to flee the confusing and dark influences in her life instinctively finds her on Oz’s doorstep. Unable to turn her away, but equally unable to get too involved, Oz keeps from her the truth of who he was and what they meant to each other before she disappeared. Against his better judgment he finds himself enmeshed in the mystery of what happened to her when she was sixteen. The more he learns, the less he understands, and as the story unfolds and Adrienne’s memory slowly returns, everything they thought they both knew gets called into question.
The Handfasting Blog Tour
Title: The Handfasting
Author: David Burnett
Genre: Romance
Release Date: June
Tour Organizer: B3 Tours
Blurb:
Ten years had passed since they had joined hands in the ruins of the old abbey church. Standing before the high altar, they were handfasted in the Celtic custom, engaged to be married.
A rose bush had bloomed beside the ruined altar. Stephen had reached out to caress one of the flowers.
“I’ll find you,” he had said. “In ten years, when we have finished school, when we are able to marry, I’ll find you. Until then, whenever you see a yellow rose, remember me. Remember I love you.”
In those ten years, Katherine had finished college, completed med school, and become a doctor. In those ten years they had not seen each other, had not spoken, and had not written.
It was what they had agreed.
For a decade, she had been waiting, hoping, praying.
Today ─ her birthday─ she finds a vase of yellow roses when she reaches home.
Stephen, though, is not Katherine’s only suitor. Bill Wilson has known her since they were in high school. He has long planned to wed her, and he finally decides to stake his claim.
Although the action occurs primarily in New York City, psychologically, the story is set in a small town in Virginia. Change came slowly to the rural South in the nineteen-seventies, and attitudes toward women were most resistant to change. Women were expected to be subservient to men, to have children, to keep house. A woman was to be above reproach, and any hint of scandal was met with censure, with ostracism, with shame. These attitudes threaten to destroy Katherine and the life of which she dreams.
The Handfasting is a story of love renewed, a suitor spurned, a vicious attack, a struggle for healing. It is a story of love that survives.
Cover Reveal: Imaginations By Tara Brown
Blurb-
What price would you pay to be free of conflict and remorse?
An arm? A leg? All of your memories?
What if you had no choice?
What if it was something that was taken for the good of the world?
Fortunately for Gwyn that question has never had to be answered.
She lives in a world free of sorrow, regret, misery, and guilt.
A world based on the promise that everyday is a new one.
A world where only the Memory Makers know what happened yesterday.
But the world is not as simple as they made it sound.
She discovers the Club of the Unknown, where dark deeds are committed and supposed to be forgotten in the morning.
There she discovers the promise of a new day was false.
Finishing behavioral school and blazing her own path in the world, leads her to the realization that not everyone paid the same price for freedom.
She can’t stop herself from seeing the truths hidden in the corners of her mind.
Or the green eyes of the boy leading her down the dark hallway.
